Hardware Requirements

Server and Client 1 Ghz or faster System with minimum of 512mb, 256MB minimum dedicated to the EFI Fiery JDF Connector (FJC) Minimum 40Gb
Software Requirements
Server and Client Windows® Vista (All Editions), 32-bit up to Service Pack 1 Windows 2003 Server (Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter Editions) with Service Pack 2 Windows XP Professional, with Service Pack 2 or 3 Windows 2000 (Professional and Server, all with service pack 2 or higher)

If EFI Fiery® JDF Connector (FJC) is used together with an EFI Print MIS system, the PrintNet Integrator (PNI), included with the EFI Print MIS, requires that the machine on which it is installed must have an Internet-accessible static IP address, must have outbound access to the Internet, and must be visible on your internal network to the Print MIS.

The PNI must be installed on a separate workstation from the Print MIS. Though not required, it is recommended that you install the PNI on a dedicated machine (one which does not have other applications that will monopolize the CPU and memory).  The PNI should not be installed on the same machine as FJC.

Required EFI Command WorkStation Version

EFI Command WorkStation is not required to operate the EFI Fiery JDF Connector, but it is highly recommended as a productivity tool for resolving errors and warnings during job processing. Additionally, much of the EFI Fiery JDF Connector job ticket information can be viewed directly from EFI Command WorkStation through extensions to its Job Action menu. For best operation, we recommend the use of EFI Command WorkStation, Version 4.6.0.26 or higher.
